Third Age Learning York Region (TALYR)

Third Age Learning-York Region (TALYR) provides high quality presentations by interesting and knowledgeable speakers across a wide range of topics including world events, science, history and the arts.

We offer three series a year: Spring and Fall with 6-7 speakers each, and Winter with 4 speakers. Our lectures are scheduled for Monday mornings from 10:00-noon. The Spring in-person series is held at the Cineplex movie theatre in Aurora; Fall and Winter series are primarily Zoom based. We are currently exploring an option to move to a hybrid model for all series.
