Third Age Network (TAN) is committed to safeguarding the personal information entrusted to us by our members, registrants, contacts, board members and individuals providing services. This website is intended for older adults.

This policy will be reviewed annually; it was last updated in February 2026.

Collection and Use of Personal Information

TAN collects and uses personal information only for those purposes necessary to administer membership, establish and maintain communications with and among members and contacts, to facilitate registrations for educational sessions and to respond to inquiries. Personal information means information about an identifiable individual, and can include name, mailing address, phone number and email address.

Replying to this website implies consent for this use.

2. Disclosure of Personal Information

TAN will not share personal information except in the following circumstances:

  • For payment processing (such as PayPal, Stripe, Banks) or marketing assistance
  • As required by law
  • With your express consent

TAN will make every reasonable effort to prevent any loss, misuse, disclosure or modification of personal information, as well as any unauthorized access to personal information, by using practices such as computer passwords, firewalls, encryption and internal organizational tools such as restricted access.  However, no method of transmission is 100% secure. TAN will never retain or store personal financial information.

3. Rights
