Breakout Sessions

An important component of the May 2nd Symposium was the opportunity to meet in small groups to discuss topics of greatest interest to participants.  The discussions were lively, varied and rich, and covered the following topics:  Leadership, Programming, Audience Engagement and Socialization, Partnering in the community, Delivery Formats and Marketing, Promotion and Social Media.

Each group was asked to record the key ideas that were discussed as well as any recommended follow up by TAN or others that would help advance efforts to address the areas discussed.  The TAN Symposium Planning Committee compiled these notes in two documents for each topic: the key points recorded by the groups who chose this topic and presented exactly as written on the summary sheets, and a 300- word summary and high- level analysis of the recorded points, prepared with the assistance of CHATGPT.
